ACORNs

This afternoon (July 26, 2008 ) some friends and I decided to make a club. Since we’re all kind of nuts, kind of awesome, kind of crazy, we decided to call ourselves the ACORNs. (I made it up Teheheee..) This is not just a cool and silly name, it has a MEANING! :O

Nobodies’

We are a group of anyone and everyone, thus the Nobodies at the end. We don’t have any group requirements, just that you are active on Dizzywood and are Awesome Crazy and Ordinarily Random.

Our group uniform consists of Onakasi Clothing and the Propeller Beanie. (Because that beanie is awesome AND random!) lol

IMPORTANT NOTE: Uniforms are optional, just a friend of mine decided to have them. Since the boys Onakasi Clothing is… is.. well, you get what I mean.. anyways, the Boys can wear lime green lab/rain coats instead. :)

Sometimes I will post ACORN club messages on the main blog page. To view them, you need passwords. This password will always be the same, and although you can always ask Charles what it is (and he will surely tell you the little Quill) you can also find it hidden on one of the pages linked to above. Search them, and find the password to the blog posts! In the posts, you can find the password to the ACORNs pin board, where you can also find out more information and news about the ACORNs Club.   9. You don’t exactly live IN my house, but say you visit so often and get invited to so many sleepovers there that it doesn’t matter, you practically live there. :P
    I’ve been asked to be roomies with practically EVERYONE, so since I have had to say no to some people who really bother me, I am going to have to say no to you guys too. :( Sorry.

    Legoless: Umm… I fully agree with that. (nod nod) You dont HAVE to wear the uniform, at all, it’s just a thing you can do to show you’re a nut. My friend who joined the club first decided that that would be our uniform. (She was also the one to decide we have uniforms at all). So, no, you never ever ever HAVE to wear the uniform. They are not required to join.

    I cant get you the code; you will have to go to a Build a Bear store (click on this URL to go to a list of BABW locations: http://www.buildabear.com/aboutUs/contactus/findastore/default.aspx?sc_hpan=tabs&sc_hpdr=tabs_locations)
    then ask for a Build-A-Bear Ville code, and tell them what bear you have. You may need to bring your bear in with you (You can bing them in with out being accused of theft, because there is usually someone as the entrance who can give you a Paw Pass saying you already payed for it) or a receipt to prove you actually bought a bear from them. Good luck with getting your code! ^^
    P.S. I dont have a code yet myself; I still need to go to the store again. =/ They also may not have the code I need, because my bear they no longer sell. (It is a Mocha Bunny. They’re cuteful! xD)

  78. Wait how do you become a beta tester?

    Elle~ You can’t, unless you joined during the site’s beta test phase, being the time when it was newly released and still had lots of bugs. The point of beta testers is to have random people play the game and report all of the bugs so the site can fix them before the official opening. Dizzywood’s beta phase was from around October 2007, to Christmas 2007. If you joined during that time period, you are considered a beta tester, and if you have any items that were available during that time, you are considered one then as well, which is the case for me. I actually joined months after the official opening. ^_^” It was in (cough cough) July (cough)… which is way after the beta session.

    Elle~ I’m sorry to tell those who don’t have it that you can no longer get it. :( It was a prize for completing an event in which you had to fix the “old” Skytown cannon, which before the huge update, was in the Grove. You had to bring Chanjo something found in the Edge, to be awarded the hat. You can no longer do the event (mission). It’s not mandatory either, you can join anyways. :)

  97. hi! i’m not new to dizzywood, but i have a question. where do you get the onakasi clothing, and how do you defeat the game with the shapes to get in to the Treasure Room? also, can i join your club? if want to add me or talk to me, my user name is whoopiedoo. i’m usually on Twirly or Wirly(sometimes Giddy).

    Elle~ Aww, cute username. :lol:

    To get the Onakasi Clothing, you have to choose it as a prize (one item per day, sorry) from the Onakasi Treasure Room. To get there (and I’m sure you know this already, but for those who don’t) click/rub the stone jaguar coffer (it looks like a dragon head) on the VERY VERY far right of Tanglevine Jungle. When the stairs reach the ground (they come from inside the coffer when you click/rub it) then you will have to play Jumper (collect the 5 blue gems and go to the far right, where the exit door is located – Do not click EXIT! the game.) and then a Tetris game, Blocks. In Blocks, rotate the falling pieces with your arrow keys (up does nothing, down makes it fall faster, and left/right rotates the group of blocks) so that you can create a whole line left/right, with no breaks or empty squares. You need to create whole lines that include the dark blocks on the screen, to clear all of the dark blocks, completing the game. Once completed, you will be taken to the Onakasi Treaure room, where you can pick a prize (one a day) from one of 3 stone chests! Prizes include clothing, move scrolls, furniture, and decorations.

    Of course you can join the club! The first meeting will be announced soon, in honor of my birthday. ^_^

    Elle~ A beanie is a type of hat (in this case) that is usually small and close fitting. The ones on Dizzywood (with propellers on top!) were given out for an event (mission) in August (I think) and is no longer available. New uniforms will be created soon. ^_^”
